SIVAMAYAM
THIRUCHITRAMBALAM
Such is the greatness of this Tamil Land that is blessed by the Omnipotent and omnipresent Siva Himself. Here is the sacred land where Siva has come to play with the Sixty Three Saiva Saints. Sometimes with hostility, sometimes with subtlety or sometimes humorously, eventually endorsing their divinity.
Even the celestials were eluded a glimpse of His Lotus feat which has several times tread the Tamil Land. Saivam is supreme amongst faiths. Indisputably imbibing this statement with sermons for Arts (music and dance), prayers and history (Periya Puranam). These three branches can be conceived to have been formed from the three eyes of Siva Himself.
The Saiva Faith follows the worshipping of Shiva (Lord’s worship), worshipping of Guru (Teacher’s worship) and worshipping of the followers of Shiva. All the three forms of worship are treated equally and considered with the same reverence. Amongst the three forms of worshipping, the worshipping of the followers of Shiva is simple and sweet. This is basically worshipping of the Sixty three Saiva Saints. By following this form of worship, it is very easy to achieve bliss both in the present life cycle and the future life cycles to come. The “Arubathmoovar Thirupani Manram” has the worshipping of the sixty three Nayanmars as the principal code and was begun with the same intention of spreading the message of Nayanmars.
-
Identifying the birth place of each Nayanmar and constructing a temple exclusively for each Nayanmar.
-
Bringing out their greatness to the knowledge of one and all.
-
Faithfully following their footsteps
Are the mottos of this Manram.
