SEKKIZHAR PRAYER

Holy Place of Thillai
Lived the Saiva Saints
Honoured by their greatness
Their blessings spread sweetness
Followed by the group
Nine in all together
Ardent is their devotion
Deserve a salutation
Then the Great
Saiva Saints Sixty three of them
Singing their esteem
So that the world redeem
Pompous place of Kundrathur
Born the Divine Sekkizhar
Sung their Glory thus
Vivid in Periya Puranam
Praising his feat
Our prayers placed
At his Lotus Feat !

PRAYER TO THE FOUR SAIVAITE SAINTS

Serkazhi the saintly town
Alias Pugali the pious town
Produced the Prodigy Who
With his poetic verses
Purified the Pandiya King
Curing his fever
Curing the burning
Praising thy Glory
Saint Gnanasambandan
We seek your blessings

Tied to a rock and
Thrown in the Sea
Floated like a boat
Bondage free
Great is thy fervor
In the Lord’s Service
Praising thy Glory
Saint Thirunavukarasu
We seek your blessings

Lord’s friend
You’ve been who
Dared to Scold Him
Divine your verses
Reigned Supreme
Born in Naavalur
Praising thy Glory
Saint Sundarar
Fills us with joy!

Soul Stirring poems
Sung with rhythms
Produced with Glory by
Saint Manikkavasagar
Vaadavur born
Oh Great Saint
Live your name long
With Fame all along!

SIVA GRACES FROM THE SOUTH...LORD OF THE WORLD THROUGHOUT!!

SIVAMAYAM
THIRUCHITRAMBALAM

Such is the greatness of this Tamil Land that is blessed by the Omnipotent and omnipresent Siva Himself. Here is the sacred land where Siva has come to play with the Sixty Three Saiva Saints. Sometimes with hostility, sometimes with subtlety or sometimes humorously, eventually endorsing their divinity.

Even the celestials were eluded a glimpse of His Lotus feat which has several times tread the Tamil Land. Saivam is supreme amongst faiths. Indisputably imbibing this statement with sermons for Arts (music and dance), prayers and history (Periya Puranam). These three branches can be conceived to have been formed from the three eyes of Siva Himself.

The Saiva Faith follows the worshipping of Shiva (Lord’s worship), worshipping of Guru (Teacher’s worship) and worshipping of the followers of Shiva. All the three forms of worship are treated equally and considered with the same reverence.

Amongst the three forms of worshipping, the worshipping of the followers of Shiva is simple and sweet. This is basically worshipping of the Sixty three Saiva Saints. By following this form of worship, it is very easy to achieve bliss both in the present life cycle and the future life cycles to come.

The “Arubathmoovar Thirupani Manram” has the worshipping of the sixty three Nayanmars as the principal code and was begun with the same intention of spreading the message of Nayanmars.

  • Identifying the birth place of each Nayanmar and constructing a temple exclusively for each Nayanmar.
  • Bringing out their greatness to the knowledge of one and all.
  • Faithfully following their footsteps

Are the mottos of this Manram.

Started as a humble beginning at Thirumudukundram, Virudachallam three years before, the Manram is slowly branching out and growing.

Please enter the website and enjoy a glimpse of the work done by this Manram. You are also most welcome to participate in the activity and lend your help in spreading the greatness of the Nayanmars.
